Gravity
the girl in the stars...
Once, I believed love meant ending my life for you.
Quietly rearrange myself to fit in your pocket
so you could carry me everywhere.
✶
Supernovas were endgame.
Burn.
Bright.
Hot.
Combust.
✶
Craving moments I couldn’t recognize myself anymore.
I couldn’t separate me from you.
✶
I’d give my soul to stare into your eyes.
Even if you never looked into mine.
✶
We’d drift into the stars
and sit there with the moon.
✶
But then I’d look down.
✶
See people on the ground
living full lives—
somehow brighter than a supernova.
✶
I’d ask if we could fall back down.
✶
You preferred the clouds.
That was fine.
✶
But it wasn’t me.
So I fell alone.
✶
And now
I’m free.
✶
The girl in the stars still burns in my heart.
It’s who I’ll always be.
✶
The ground felt strange at first.
But that’s just gravity.
—Tianna
I’m here.

This is quite lovely. It really speaks to those that lose themselves to be with someone else. And to those that find themselves again.
So I fell alone… and now I’m free.
That just about sums love up.
